New Prague is a progressive, small town founded in 1856. We are rich in Czech, Bavarian and Bohemian culture, with a thriving business and agricultural community.
Located just 45 miles southwest of the Twin Cities, New Prague is an attractive, growing community. New Prague has the small town sense of community with the business and services often only found in large metropolitan areas. Join us May 10, 2008 for the Annual New Prague Half Marathon and 5K . Also, come help us celebrate our heritage September 19-20, 2008 for our annual Dožínky® Czech Fall Harvest Festival. Friday night kicks off with the 14th Annual Car Cruise, Saturday is the Festival.
