2026 New Prague Dožínky Festival
It’s exciting that we celebrate 42 years of Dožínky® in 2026.
What an amazing event and tradition we have grown here in New Prague. About 200 local businesses that make up the New Prague Chamber of Commerce are your hosts for this weekend. Please be sure to give them your business and thank them for being such a great community supporter.
Dožínky® Festival weekend will kick off on Thursday, September 17th with the Dožínky Zero K at at Giesenbräu Bier Co, followed by our Dožínky Bingo event. The festivities will continue on Friday, September 18th with the Classic Car Cruise on Main St. After the cruise, be sure to stop by the Chamber of Commerce Beer Garden on Main St. for a street dance.
The festivities commence on Saturday, September 19th, with the opening ceremony at the Czech Heritage Village at 10 am. The Chamber of Commerce will once again invite vendors, performers and local Czech royalty. The Kids Czech Tour will also be a fun activity for the kids to enjoy from 1 pm – 4 pm.
All merchandise and food vendors open on Main Street at 10:00am and don’t forget to pick up some limited-edition Dožínky® Festival wearables outside the Chamber of Commerce office. There are more of great events during Dožínky® weekend like the Rick Tietz Memorial Softball Tournament and Alumni Women’s Volleyball Tournament in Memorial Park. It’s a great way to catch up with classmates and friends.

Dožínky Festival Parade of Farm Pride
The Parade of Farm Pride takes place at 12 pm on Dožínky Saturday and will cruise Main Street and features many local area businesses and organizations as well as a variety of local farmers and tractors. Join us!

2026 Dožínky Festival Car Cruise
Join us for the Classic Car Cruise the 3rd Friday in September when almost 400 show worthy classic cars cruise Main Street!
New This Year! Car Cruise Pre-Registration!
Pre-registration for the car cruise will open August 1st, 2026!
Registration is also available the day of the event from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm in the New Prague High School parking lot (221 12th St. NE). The cruise will begin promptly at 6:30 pm and costs $20 per vehicle. Registration includes 1 meal from the New Prague Rotary food booth, goodie bag, and commemorative dash plaque. Cars must be in show condition (a little rust is OK). Modern sports and muscle cars less than 20 years old will be accepted if in show condition (no Ford Taurus or Mini-vans; vehicles must be a ‘classic’).
The money raised through registration fees allows our local Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club to continue to do good for local businesses and the community.

Dožínky Zero K & Dožínky Bingo
It’s the race that requires absolutely Zero training! The Dožínky Zero K will be held on the 3rd Thursday in September. The ‘race will begin at 5:30 pm with the after party starting at 5:31. Bingo will begin at 7 pm; paper sales start at 6 pm. *Must be 21 or older to drink and 18+ to play bingo but all ages are welcome to participate in the Zero K (non-alcoholic beverages available).
Registration is $25. Register by September 1st for guaranteed swag!
**Registered participants will receive a shirt and beverage at the brewery.
The Dožínky Zero K event is a fun experiment for non-runners designed to bring community members together to support local business and raise funds for the Chamber so we can enhance our event, programs and services offered to Chamber members and the community. You still get the start/finish, the t-shirt and an epic post-race party!
